Els nuclis de condensació són petites partícules d'aproximadament 1/100 la mida d’una gota de núvol. Quan apareixen en una atmosfera rica en vapor d’aigua, proporcionen la superfície necessària per produir el trànsit de vapor a líquid; aleshores plou!

Fa uns dos anys, vam formar una comunitat de live coding que s’ha condensat en un grup políglota que aconsegueix compartir un llenguatge comú: el nostre plaer per crear i jugar amb el codi. Sense adonar-nos-en, havíem sembrat algunes partícules en una atmosfera propera al seu punt de rosada i va créixer com la tramuntana.

Down the Rabbit Hole reflecteix les diverses pràctiques de live coding de la nostra comunitat: TOPLAP Barcelona. És el registre d’un moment i una metàfora que descriu el nostre viatge.

Cloud condensation nuclei are small particles about 1/100th the size of a cloud droplet. When they appear in an atmosphere rich in water vapour, they provide the required surface for the vapour-liquid transit; so it rains!

About two years ago, we formed a live coding community, which has condensed into a polyglot group that manages to share a common language: our delight in creating and playing with code. Without realizing it, we had seeded some particles into an atmosphere close to its dew point, and it grew like the tramuntana!

Down the Rabbit Hole reflects the diverse live coding practices of our TOPLAP Barcelona community. It is the record of a moment, and a metaphor that describes our journey.
